ATTENTION!!!

As of today, 04/21/2010, my account was compromised. The guild vault has been ransacked, Taliesen has been deleted, and the guild was maliciously disbanded. YOU WERE NOT REMOVED FROM THE GUILD INTENTIONALLY! I have already spoken with a Blizzard account representative on the phone and the restoration process has already begun. We are attempting to reform "Forbidden Lore" so that we can reserve the name once more.

More-than-likely you will need a reinvite to the guild depending on how long the restoration process takes. Please contact Vaedre, Humphrago, Akiatahn, Xazureja, Beneficence, or any other Lore member you seen online for an invite.

I believe the ETA on the restoration will be anywhere from 1-2 days. Thank you for your support. "Fighting Steel."

UPDATE:  10:46am Central Time - 04/21/2010

As of the date/time above, Forbodden Lore's name was restored on the server to prevent anyone from ransacking the name.  More details to follow as the restoration process continues.

UPDATE:  09:46am Central Time - 04/22/2010

As of the date/time above, both Taliesen and the Guild Bank have been fully restored.  Guild bank has limited access to all members given the severity of the situation.  Over the course of today and tomrorow, we will be reorganizing the guild bank to coincide with the new rules & regulations set forth by Pennyworth & our Sage of Logistics.  Until notified otherwise, all members are restricted to "Deposit Only" on the guild bank.

It took Blizzard less than 24 hours to restore my account - not to shabby. :)

So why have you come before us? What has brought you here to this circle? Were you so ordered by your commander, or were you led here by an unknown drive to change the world around you? We all spin our webs throughout life. Many of us have made decisions that we wish we could forget, but we would be fools to ignore that which makes us who we are.

Tell me, what drives your hand? Is it fame and fortune from your prowess in battle, or the ideal of making this land a safer place for the generations to come? The time for you to choose your path is quickly approaching. On that day, we must all make our stand. Let us all pray that the decisions that we are about to make will make the Goddess proud.

Within this house stand those who seek forgiveness, retribution, and repentance. We will not judge you, but we will hold you accountable for your deeds. I once stood atop Mount Hyjal, gazing down at a united front; Horde and Alliance all battling under one flag to rid Azeroth of the Burning Legion. The smoke billowed from the towers as the undead masses invaded our lands and we mounted our last defense. To my left, and to my right, our brothers and sisters fell: Human, Dwarf, Sin'Dorei, Tauren, Gnome, and Troll.
